Igor Kurnosov (Russian: Игорь Курносов; born May 30, 1985 in Chelyabinsk) is a Russian chess grandmaster. In 2008 he won the Arctic Chess Challenge.[1] He is also the winner of 2008/9 Hastings Masters tournament.[2]
On the March 2011 FIDE Elo rating list, Kurnosov has a rating of 2653.
Recent game at Aeroflot Open in Moscow against top seed Mamedyarov... won in 21 moves—enough to make Mamedyarov file a (unsubstantiated) complaint of cheating.[3][4]
